Hello, I’m Nick
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I am currently working towards becoming a Register Play Therapist (RPT) under the supervision of Mindi Amberson, RPT-S
I use a unique blend of Adlerian and Play Therapy approaches to help children, adolescents, and adults of all ages.
I believe that counseling is most effective when it is unique and personal to the clients' interests. I am extremely passionate about linking those interests into the counseling process to help facilitate change. I use play techniques such as artistic expression, sand trays, puppets, books, and much more to help clients learn, feel, and grow.
When I’m not counseling, I enjoy being goofy with my wife and two children, playing sports, writing stories, drawing, playing tabletop role playing games, and eating spicy food.
One of my favorite quotes:
“At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.”
― Maya Angelou
